| Position Summary | The University of New Mexico’s Honors College (HC) provideschallenging and enriching opportunities for highly motivated, talented, andcreative undergraduates from all majors and colleges. Through small,interdisciplinary seminars and a skills-based curriculum, the Honors Collegeenhances undergraduate learning and academic engagement. The Honors College is seeking an Academic AdvisementCoordinator to play a vital role in supporting student success andadvancing HC’s mission of fostering Community, Creativity, and Curiosity.This position provides comprehensive academic advisement services thatpositively impact student retention, admission, graduation, and overalleducational achievement. This role offers a broader and more nuanced scope ofacademic advising than many traditional advising positions. The AcademicAdvisement Coordinator will manage multiple projects and deadlines, workefficiently with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively both orallyand in writing.
