Position Summary | The Lobo Transfer Pathways Program, under the direction of the Office of Advising Strategies (OAS), is seeking an innovative and creative thinker who is excited and passionate about joining a team dedicated to a continuous and evolving focus on improving dual credit/concurrent enrollment and transfer student experiences. This position supports the institution’s commitment to make earning a bachelor’s degree accessible and attainable in a streamlined and efficient manner through the support of early and proactive outreach and advisement. This position will also support the creation, maintenance, and delivery of student-centered, advisement-driven, recruitment, retention, and mentorship programs and initiatives. UNM is re-envisioning approaches to dual credit and transfer opportunities and this position will evolve alongside higher education trends based on current data and research. Flexibility, being able to reflect critically on advisement practices, and embracing change are necessary elements of the position. The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to creating a climate and environment for dual credit/concurrent enrollment and transfer students that is warm, empowering, and instills a sense of belonging in the Lobo community. Position expectations:
o Creating and maintaining Dual Credit Master Agreements between high schools and UNM o Coordinating the application and registration processes for dual credit/concurrent enrollment students o Preparing and providing enrollment and grade reports for partnering secondary education institutions o Supporting high school students in making higher education connections and planning for their higher education academic experiences o Connecting high school students to discipline-specific academic advisors, integrated advisors, and faculty advisors as appropriate for a high school student’s individual dual credit/concurrent enrollment plan |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
