The Academic Advisor, Sr. position in the College of Education Center for Student Success will work in a team environment to deliver academic advisement for prospective and current students.
The primary responsibilities of this position include: Providing direct academic advisement to students including the review of transcripts, review of Programs of Study, completion of graduation checks, and general academic support and advice. Completing administrative components for academic advising including the documentation of appointments and related notes, preparation of student files, investigative work to address issues, and addressing inquiries via email and phone. Planning, implementing, coordinating, and participating in special projects, events, New Student Orientations, and other recruitment and retention activities.

Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
