Position Summary | Position Summary: The Senior Academic Advisor serves as a critical member of the BA/MD Program team, providing holistic and highly personalized academic advisement to undergraduate students from their entry into the program through their transition to the UNM School of Medicine. This position requires an in-depth understanding of the unique needs of a high-achieving, diverse student population in a rigorous pre-medical curriculum. Located within the Center for Academic Success, the Senior Academic Advisor offers proactive and developmentally appropriate guidance that supports student success, persistence, and professional development. In addition to student-facing responsibilities, the role includes administrative and programmatic support such as committee participation, data reporting, and contributions to program development initiatives.
