Position SummaryThe UNM Children’s Campus seeks am Academic Intern who will be working alongside trained and existing staff in an on-the-job training role to learn about the early childhood profession and assist with the school-age and middle school summer camp programs with duties including:

· Working directly in classrooms and
· Attending field trips.
· Provide support to the classroom teachers and
· Help to ensure the overall safety and supervision of the children
· Direct care and supervision of young children.

Assignment Details:
Days & Hours: M - F
Anticipated Start Date: 11/4/19
Projected End Date: 11/3/20
Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee

Conditions of Employment
  • Must be age 16 or older at date of hire; must be in the care of a parent or guardian if under the age of 18.
Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled in high school or must have obtained high school diploma no greater than 24 months prior to hire date.
