|Working Title||Academic Program Review Splst|
Reporting to the Director of the Office of Assessment & Academic Program Review (APR), the APR Specialist will be responsible for managing university Academic Program Review activities. The academic program review process involves the annual evaluation of multiple different departments at UNM and is integral to the institution’s overall assessment and academic program development/improvement and goal-setting process. The APR Specialist oversees the process but does not conduct any of the evaluations. All evaluations and reviews are completed by academic reviewers from both UNM and other institutions.
The APR Specialist plans, manages, consults with and supports academic programs through the annual review process, including but not limited to, providing orientations, regular communications, timelines and calendars, assisting with the creation of documents and reports, organizing travel for reviewers, scheduling events with university leadership and campus partners, monitoring the submission of documents and leading institutional meetings for each program review. The APR Specialist will work with the office Director and Institutional Researcher to synthesize data findings from the program reviews for use in strategic planning and distribution to the university community. The APR Specialist will also be responsible for fiscal management related to the office programming, purchasing of office supplies and assisting with the reimbursement and compensation of program reviewers.
|Conditions of Employment|
Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

· Experience with providing constructive feedback to drafts of official documents

· Strong communication skills (verbally and in writing) to diverse constituents/stakeholders
· Experience with UNM financial systems and policies (purchasing, transfers)
