The University of New Mexico, Department of Neurology is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant 1. The ideal candidate is looking for an opportunity to establish a career at the University of New Mexico, with a goal to grow and learn as opportunities present themselves. This individual will:
· Provide administrative support to the Child Neurology Department administrative operations.
· Day-to-day needs of the Faculty within Child Neurology
· Travel arrangements
· Other duties as assigned.
· The incumbent will also be responsible for providing the administrative support for the Department’s Grand Rounds.
The incumbent will work in a team environment with dedicated, caring physicians and staff. Opportunities abound at the University, both for advancement and the ability to obtain additional education as part of our benefits package.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
- Experience with providing support to faculty
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience in a clinical environment
