| Position Summary | The University of New Mexico-Valencia campus is seeking a professional,outgoing and dependable individual for an Administrative Assistant 2 positionto support the Business Operations Division. This position supports multiple departments including Business andFinance, Information Technologies, Facilities Management, Marketing and Events,and Capital Projects. This position is a critical component of supportoperations as the first point of contact both in-person and telephonically for thecampus community. This position is the point person within an integrated teamthat manages the physical campus, and collaborates with multiple departmentsand admins. Responsibilities include travel arrangements, meeting and calendar management,physical inventory tracking, supply inventories, mail systems, switchboard and frontdesk support, ticket system tracking, and fleet management. The ideal candidate will thrive in afast-paced environment and can effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilitiesand deadlines working both individually and collaboratively. The desired candidate will possess exceptional customer service skillsand will ideally be able to demonstrate proficiency with various softwarepackages including Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Cloud, Banner orsimilar platform as well as proficiency with purchasing procedures and travelpolicies. This is a full-time position, working on-campus with occasional travel. Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, TheUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of TheUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis onteaching excellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs,technical vocational programs, Adult Basic Education, and Dual Credit HighSchool/College courses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. | Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
