TheUNM Valencia Recruitment/Dual Credit Department is in need of an AdminAssistant 2. The selected candidate will serve as assistant to theRecruitment Specialist (RS), who also coordinates Dual Credit within theRegistrar’s Office. The RS serves the campus and community in variousaspects on and off campus, and the Admin Asst will help to implement theseefforts, maintaining recruitment and dual credit to high standards. He/she will perform a variety of administrative and staff support duties forthe Recruitment and Dual Credit Department, which require a range of skills andknowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Assist and directvisitors, and resolve administrative problems and inquires; compose, edit andproofread correspondence and reports, and prepare a range of administrativedocuments. Duties will include, but not limited to: Coordinate andperform a range of staff and/or operational support activities for the unit;serve as a liaison with other departments and operating units in the resolutionof day-to-day administrative operational problems. Provide support such asanswering phones, assisting visitors, schedule and coordinate meetings, eventsand interviews, appointments and/or other similar activities for thesupervisors. Prepare and assist with the preparation of scheduled and/orad-hoc statistical and narrative reports. Establish, maintain and updatefiles, databases, records, and/or other documents; develop and maintain data,and perform routine analyses and calculations in the processing of date forrecurring internal reports. Sorts, screens, and review incomingapplications; and performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
