Position Summary

Performs a variety of administrative and staffsupport duties for the Children's Campus department, which requires a range ofskills and a knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, programs, andphilosophy. Individuals will assist with staff and children's files, regulatoryrequirements, and accreditation requirements to remain in compliance withChildren Youth and Family Licensing and the National Association for theEducation of Young Children Accreditation criteria. This position also requiresassisting and directing visitors, staff, and families and providing support inresolving administrative problems and inquiries. Duties will includeadministrative support with composing, editing, and proofreading correspondenceand reports, as well as preparing a range of administrative documents relevantto department needs and events.

Conditions of Employment
  • If this position is assigned to the Athletics Department, either administratively or functionally, compliance with all NCAA rules and regulations is required.
  • All regular, non-temporary positions assigned to this classification are represented by a labor union and subject to the terms and conditions of the US-UNM Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
