Position Summary | Assessment & Learning, a division of Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), is looking to hire a talented individual for our Administrative Assistant 2 position. We are looking for someone who likes to interact with a diverse range of people, including students, staff, and faculty, cares about accuracy and quality, has great organizational skills, thinks creative problem solving is fun, and enjoys a challenge and working as a member of a well-functioning team. Primary duties/responsibilities for this position include:

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | Preferred Qualifications include: * Experience in scheduling and coordinating meetings * Experience with the financial and purchasing systems including Banner Finance, Banner journal entries, and Chrome River (PCard) travel reimbursements and purchases, and Banner time entry. * Detail oriented with strong organizational skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficient with in-person, electronic, and phone-based customer service * Team player with the ability to also be resourceful and work effective independently * Experience working with confidential information * Experience with databases * Experience administering performance assessments for medical students Proficiency with: * MS Word * MS Excel * Outlook * Banner * Access |
Additional Requirements | Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required, depending on department needs. |
