The College of University Libraries Learning Sciences is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences (OILS). The Administrative Assistant will provide academic support to enrolled students (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral), will provide administrative support to OILS Faculty, and will serve as a liaison between students, faculty, staff, and other departments. The successful candidate will carry out administrative duties of the Program such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, drafting correspondence, making travel arrangements, and maintaining a detailed filing system (including databases and websites). Other responsibilities will include organizing special events, scheduling and coordinating academic courses and the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the OILS Program.
The Organization, Information, and Learning Sciences Program serves adult learners and working professionals with classes offered in the late afternoon and online. The program is currently expanding and creating new collaborative relationships within the College, across the campus, and within the community, while building faculty capacity to develop curriculum that is visionary and unique among our peer institutions, attractive to students, and will serve their academic and professional needs far into the future.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
