The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
CDD’s Early Childhood Home and Family Services Division has an opening for an Administrative Assistant 2. This position will administratively support the Nurse Family Partnership and Parents as Teachers programs. These two programs are Prevention Home Visiting programs that are part of the CDD's Early Childhood Home and Family Services Division. The Early Childhood Home and Family Services Division consists of a cluster of programs providing direct clinical and home visiting services to high-risk families of infants and young children in Bernalillo and Valencia Counties.
In partnership with the other administrative personnel, the AA2 will support the two programs by assisting with a variety of tasks including performing data entry into two web-based databases maintaining accuracy, auditing data, and running ad hoc reports. The AA2 will help assist with planning logistics for quarterly Community Advisory Board meetings, including arranging for space, preparing materials, setup and breakdown. The AA2 will also help coordinate misc. events with client families, staff meetings, trainings, preparing materials, and taking meeting minutes. The position will also perform financial procedures including travel and other reimbursements, utilizing Banner to track payments and other miscellaneous research.
The AA2 will also oversee client records, create folders and packets, organize and maintain supplies and materials used by home visitors. The AA2 will assist with tracking expenses, organize mailings, create and edit forms and correspondence documents including flyers. The AA2 will also lead the current student employee in administrative events and projects.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
