Weare seeking a full-time Admin Assistant 2 to work with the Departmentof Linguistics, Signed Language Interpreting Program. Under direct supervisionof the program director, the Admin Assistant 2 will: |
· work with the director to prioritize workduties.
· work with the director to review and maintainprogram policies, procedures, purchasing, and records.
· assist the director in creating an engaging,deaf-friendly office and program environment.
· complete additional duties andresponsibilities according to requests from the director.
Depending on the candidate’s background additional duties mayinclude:
· providing signed language interpreting and transliterating for theprogram director and deaf faculty.
· interpreting program assignments such asmeetings with faculty and university and community constituencies.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
