Position Summary | TheDepartment of Psychology is seeking a motivated, self-directed candidate withexcellent communication and interpersonal skills to join our highperforming-dynamic team as an Administrative Assistant 3. Thisposition is the first point of contact for the department and is a criticalpart of the department’s engagement. The individual selected for this positionwill provide administrative support for our faculty, staff, and students in adynamic environment and must be comfortable responding to a variety ofadministrative and academic issues. The candidate must be flexible and adaptiveto a variety of customers, and responsive to needs of all visitors. They must also be able to work M-F, 8-5 (with a 1 hour lunch). The ideal candidate for this position demonstratesattention to detail, is comfortable asking questions and exploring answers, workswell independently and in a team, as well as takes pride in the quality oftheir work. Duties will include participation in hiring studentemployees. Help manage the operations of the AV/Copy room. Supervises the AV/Copy room students, copy user codereporting, office supplies inventory, planning departmental events. Lead pointof contact for issuing keys, subject parking and assisting with Prox cardaccess, building maintenance and data entry. Managing department physical mailand email and listserve(s) and assisting with special projects to support thedepartment administrator and Chair, as needed. |

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
