Position Summary | Performs and/or oversees a variety of associated administrative, fiscal, staff support, and planning activities, some of which require advanced or specialized knowledge and skills, such as budget administration and control, equipment, facilities, and inventory management, specialized record keeping and database management, and/or specified information-gathering projects and tasks. Coordinates and facilitates meetings, program functions, and/or special events, as appropriate. Trains and oversees lower graded staff and/or students. May coordinate specified administrative activities and reporting across multiple organizational units within a department. This position will have an exciting opportunity to help support an upcoming newly planned Bioengineering center

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | * Experience with P-card purchasing, LoboMart, reimbursements, and knowledge of Chrome River system processes. * Experience with scheduling meetings, events and maintaining calendars. * Experience with Banner. * Knowledge of maintaining office equipment such printers and copiers. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests. * Excellent customer service skills and problem-solving skills. * Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, PPT, Excel, and Smartsheets. * Experience with Zoom and Teams. * Experience with front desk duties such as answering and transferring calls and greeting visitors. * Must be detailed oriented and have strong organizational skills. |
