Position Summary | The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. These centers, authorized by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act, build the capacities of states and communities to respond to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. · Provide support for Center employment and credentialing processes, including reviewing documentation for completeness, accuracy and compliance with appropriate university systems policies and procedures. Serves as a resource providing guidelines on required paperwork, general information, and answers routine questions. · Perform technical tasks including drafting and editing of vacancy announcements, creating and monitoring requisitions for posting and preparing hiring requests. Works closely with supervisor to monitor and assist with the progression of recruitments. Assists candidates to ensure follow through and completion of required hiring documentation Process and monitor routine transactions such as term extensions, supervisor changes, and terminations. Updates directories, maintain personnel and credentialing filing systems and assist with disbursement and collection of building keys. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
