|Working Title||Admin Assistant 3|
The Faculty Services and Online Course Development (FSOCD) group is the University’s support for online course development. FSOCD is a group of instructional designers and multimedia specialists who assist faculty from 15 colleges, and more than 90 departments across campus.
Performs and oversees a variety of associated administrative and staff support, in collaboration with the Associate Director and the staff. Frequently organizes resources and participates in planning complex projects, working on and coordinating other programmatic initiatives, operations and/or events for the department. Uses independent judgment in problem-solving complex operating issues and serves as primary administrative and operational liaison with internal and external department/agencies.
Provides administrative assistance with job searches, as appropriate, including logging employment applications, preparing applicant acknowledgements and interview documents, coordinating interview logistics. Coordinates outreach for the department and participates in employee orientation activities. Assists with communication, coordination, and scheduling course reviews for the OCAC Best Practices Initiative course, as well as Managed Online Program course reviews. Aids with processing internal payments. Other duties as assigned.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
