Position Summary

UNM Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) has an opening for an Admin Assistant to the Director. As one of the first University departments encountered by many guests and visitors, our employees play an important role in the University's community outreach efforts and public relations.

The Admin Assistant to the Director position performs a vital role within PATS. The successful candidate
will be proficient in Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Suite and have previous experience working directly for an executive. This position supports PATS Director, Associate Director and managers with the day-to-day administrative activities and needs that include but are not limited to data entry, personnel transactions, serving as the primary point of contact between internal and external customers, research information and perform problem solving on a range of issues. The selected candidate will respond to customer questions and concerns via phone, email and walk-ins and provide the high level of customer service and timeliness as is expected throughout PATS. With the high volume of services carried out each day, a considerable amount of time and energy is expanded gathering and compiling relevant data and preparing reports.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
