Position Summary | The Preventive Medicine Section, within theDepartment of Internal Medicine, is seeking a flexible, outgoing, professionalindividual with excellent computer and communication skills to support thePreventive Medicine Residency Program. The Administrative Assistant 2, reportingdirectly to our Program Manager, will help support faculty, residents, medicalstudents, and staff. This dynamic role involves customer service tasks such asresponding to information requests, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars,coordinating activities and travel arrangements, purchasing supplies andmaterials, attending meetings, preparing minutes, assisting with the UNM HEaRTProgram; and assisting with other projects as determined by the needs of thedepartment’s management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clear and concisecommunication skills to establish and maintain positive working relationshipswith various stakeholders. The hired individual will work Monday throughFriday, 8am to 5pm with no weekends scheduled. This position is eligible for remote work afterprobation. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
