Position Summary

Center of Employee Health Services UNM HEART Program, within the Department of Internal Medicine is seeking part-time OnCall AED/CPR trainers to train UNM's staff members and members of the UNMcommunity in CPR/AED/First Aid. Classesare held during the days, evenings and sometimes on the weekends. Travel to UNM branch campuses may benecessary. Must be already certified or have the ability to quickly become acertified Certified American Heart, Red Cross, or ASHI instructor.

TheDepartment of Internal Medicine is a large, progressive department with adiverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide quality work in anorganized, effective and efficient manner through innovation, training, andeducation. Through our collaborative work effort, we support the faculty andenhance the missions of the department, school, Health Sciences Center andUniversity.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Successful completion of at least 60 college-level credit hours; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experiencein training staff/student employees
  • CertifiedAmerican Heart, Red Cross, or ASHI certified instructor
  • Experienceworking as a CPR/First Aid instructor
  • Skillsto complete administrative steps in running a first aid and AED program
