Position Summary

Within the Provost's Office of Assessment, provides support to the Director with professional planning, coordination, and development for institutional assessment programs and initiatives to assist the University's accreditation goals and objectives. Serves the office Academic Program Review (APR) manager and Institutional Researcher to provide assistance with data interpretations, assessment research, and program support within assessment and APR activities. Monitors document submissions, evaluates program quality, analyzes qualitative and quantitative data, and participates in the creation of official assessment reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs direct assessment and assessment analysis; provides feedback on assessment plans and reports.
  • Aids in the development of educational assessment workshops, training, and outreach activities.
  • Participates in the collection and analysis of various assessment data to support programmatic assessment processes and academic program reviews.
  • Supports the office with their GE and degree program assessment digital archive systems; monitors document submissions and evaluates inventory.
  • Interprets assessment findings; analyzes and compiles comprehensive statistical and narrative data; assists with the preparation of official assessment reports to summarize findings.
  • Plans, develops, and implements various special projects as assigned; plans, coordinates, promotes and facilitates special events, programs, and/or activities.
  • Participates in the preparation of institutional accreditation as a representative of the Office of Assessment.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to contribute to the charge of the office.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • 3 years of assessment experience, including assessment design, data collection, and data analysis
