Position Summary | The School of Public Administration at the University of New Mexico invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor to begin in August 2024. This is a full-time, tenured/tenure-track position with specialization in health administration. Applicants must have a doctoral degree ((including PhD, DrPH, DHA and equivalent terminal degrees) in Health Administration, Health Services Research, Health Policy, Health Systems Management, Health Informatics, or another relevant field by the date of appointment of August 1, 2024. Application review will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. For best consideration, all application materials must be received by March 24, 2024. The MHA program, the newest program in the School of Public Administration, is an associate member of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). The MPA program in the School, is one of the oldest NASPAA-accredited programs in the nation. The University of New Mexico is a Carnegie Doctoral Very High Research Activity Institution and a Hispanic-Serving Institution, with over 33,000 students on the main and branch campuses. The University of New Mexico is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Albuquerque is an ethnically diverse city with a rich culture and a location offering opportunities for outdoor adventure. The university is located within minutes of the Sandia and Manzano mountain ranges, which offer great opportunities for hiking, biking, rock climbing, and skiing. Albuquerque, the largest city in New Mexico, is located approximately fifty miles south of Santa Fe, the state capital.
