| Position Summary | The LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center has a dynamic work environment that provides a variety of opportunities to assist and support students and to work collaboratively with campus partners. The ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently, be well organized, and creative. They will be empowered to utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to effectively provide support services to students and UNM community members seeking advocacy and navigation of UNM and community systems and resources. This position is for someone that enjoys working both independently and as a team member utilizing their analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. Under the close mentorship of director of the Advocacy Center, this position undertakes a range of on-going activities and assigned projects of varying levels of complexity within the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center. In addition, this position will work as a member of the Dean of Students Office staff, directly working with colleagues both inside and outside of the office in the planning and implementation of advocacy, projects, and tasks. Duties & Responsibilities The Campus Advocate position in the LoboRESPECT Advocacy Center is a multifaceted position that focuses on the overall well-being of our students. Their primary duties include providing advocacy and support services to students in crisis, managing and delivering our university-wide student sexual misconduct prevention training, and creating and maintaining collaborative relationships with campus and community partners. This position works to empower students by providing clear, timely information and access to resources, so they may make informed decisions that reflect their unique needs. Our Campus Advocate will:

| Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree in a directly related field; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
