academic programs, and advancement of the University of New Mexico.
Under general supervision, the Career Development Facilitator assists students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members in developing, evaluating, and/or implementing career/employment plans and decisions with special emphasis on assisting students, faculty and employers to connect. This position will coach and prepare individuals with all aspects of the career development process, specifically but not limited to, choosing a major, internship and job search skills, resume, cover letter, personal statement development and critique, utilize available technology to design and deliver career related presentations, and career tool development; in addition, CDFs will assist faculty to develop understanding of the curriculum and corresponding job market to build potential employer contacts. Position may provide office hours to assigned college areas to advise students.
|Conditions of Employment|
Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
