Position Summary

UNM Mailing Systems is the mail processing facility for the University of New Mexico. The department is seeking a motivated individual with exceptional work ethic to join their team in the role of Coordinator. The successful candidate must possess the ability to train new and current employees in the pickup, delivery and processing of mail, packages and accountables for Mailing Systems. In addition, the candidate will work as a liaison lead under the supervision of Mailing’s management team.

Conditions of Employment
  • Possession of a valid New Mexico driver's license is a requirement for this job.
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
  • Must be able to work evening and/or weekend overtime as required.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

· Customer service

· Mail & package processing and/or delivery

· Training or coaching

· Electronic metering equipment

· Knowledge of electronic tracking system
