|Position Summary|| |
The Department of Radiology, at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, is seeking a professional individual with a positive attitude to provide leadership to the department in the role of the Department Administrator C2. This position requires a leader who is proactive and people oriented with skills to develop, enhance and support a dynamic team within the department.
The Administrator is responsible for the clinical practice management, internal and external business activities, accounting and finance, grant administration, residency and fellowship programs and human resource activities for faculty, residents, fellows, staff, post-docs and students.
As a direct report to the Chair, the Administrator participates in strategic and operational decision making as a member of the Department leadership team.
This individual will oversee and administer our programs, strategies and initiatives; he/she will also manage and coordinate facility and resource management, information services and general department administration.
The Radiology Department is a collegial environment where faculty and staff engage in providing imaging interpretation to patients at UNMH, OSIS, SRMC and VAMC; education for Medical Students; education for Residents and Fellows; education for Radiology Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, CT and MRI Technologists; and Basic Science Research.

Bachelor's degree; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
