UNM Facilities Management (FM) has a great entrylevel opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a FacilitiesServices Tech in FM-Area Two which services the North Campus side of UNM. Thequalified candidate will perform a wide range of facilities services tasks includingnon-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/orair conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formallicensure. This position may also be required to perform tasks of otherunlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter,and/or locksmith.
Facilities Management isresponsible for the care and upkeep of the physical campus environment.Additionally, the department maintains the University’s district energy systemproviding electricity, steam, chilled water and domestic water through its owndistribution systems.

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
High school diploma or GED; successful completion of PPD Trades Training Program and at least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
