|Working Title||Fellowship Coordinator|
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a motivated self-starter who is highly organized, detail oriented and a multitasker. This position provides administrative coordination and support for a complete Fellowship Training Program of unusually large size and operational complexity. The Fellowship Coordinator will be the first line of communication for our Fellows and Fellowship Director, therefore must posses the ability to communicate effectively and professionally in-person, over the telephone and in writing. The chosen individual will develop and administer schedules, training, rotation assignments, curriculum direction, and policies and guidelines for all Fellows (15 currently plus 1 Advanced Endoscopy Fellow). Coordination of recruitment and interviewing of new Fellows each year as well as graduating Fellows each year is another responsibility of this position. Additionally, this person will serve as the principal liaison between UNM, GME, ACGME and other agencies for the Division.

High school diploma or GED; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
