Position Summary | Conducting monthly line-point vegetation surveys for six sites in the Valles Caldera, National Preserve. Responsible for vegetation identification, data, and field guides. Angiosperms are identified to species in the field without voucher collection. Three transects per site with points spaced five meters apart. Ability to camp for three to four consecutive days.Field work occurs in three to four days stints, camping and physical labor required. |

Minimum Qualifications | Vocational-Technical Training directly related Life Sciences field; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
