Position Summary

The UNM Copy Center is a service-oriented department that strives for excellence. The Copy Center has an exciting opportunity for a General Services Assistant. We are seeking a self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills who has the ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team. The position is the first point of contact for customers requiring copying, printing and binding services, and demands prompt and professional customer service to UNM faculty, staff, and external vendors.

The position is responsible for front desk coverage, which requires the ability to work the cash register, finalize deposits and provide in-person and over-the-phone customer service. As needed, the position will also be responsible for the preparation and delivery of print orders for Main and HSC campuses.

Conditions of Employment
  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer, pre-employment physical examination and medical history check.
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in/with:

· Customer service

· Front desk reception

· Cash register operation

· Deposit preparation

· Coil bindery
