|Working Title||Health Educator|
|Position Summary||Under general supervision, plans, implements, and evaluates CHILE Plus, a SNAP-Ed funded nutrition and physical activity education program for preschool-age children and their families enrolled in Head Start and licensed childcare centers. The person in this position will contribute content expertise to the multidisciplinary CHILE Plus team, deliver evidence-based nutrition and physical activity professional development training to adult early care and education staff, and work with community partners (e.g. retail food stores, health care clinics) to disseminate consistent nutrition and physical activity messages. This position will deliver training in-person, as well as develop and deliver content for our online learning system. Degree should be in Education, Health Education, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Public Health, or similar field. Must be willing to travel to communities throughout New Mexico and have a valid New Mexico driver’s license. Note that this position requires some Saturdays and overnight stays in partner communities.|

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
