Position Summary | The Prevention Research Center (PRC) at the Universityof New Mexico is looking for a highly motivated and creative AssociateScientist 1 to work with a multidisciplinary research team in the development,implementation and evaluation of social marketing campaigns for healthpromotion and disease prevention. Eat Smart to Play Hard (ESPH) is one of thosesocial marketing campaigns funded by the Supplemental Nutrition AssistanceProgram- Education (SNAP-Ed). ESPH works with children 8 - 11 years old andtheir families to support them in their healthy lives. The main goal is to makeit convenient and fun for the children to eat more fruits and vegetables as away to get to their goal of playing hard. Other social marketing initiativesdeveloped at the Center are with teens and older adults. The successful candidate will:

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
