Position Summary

The UNM HSC Institutional Compliance Program is seeking a Compliance Manager who can analyze our health system and ensure that our operations are in compliance with all local, state and federal laws, as well as the laws that govern best practice. If you have prior compliance experience working in the healthcare sector, we need you on our team.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in higher education administration, student personnel, public administration or related field. J.D. preferred. Experience working in a university environment.
  • Significant experience in the health care industry, with specific ethics/compliance program experience or legal experience.
  • Detailed understanding of government requirements/expectations for health care compliance programs.
  • Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid programs and state insurance laws.
