Position Summary | TheUniversity of New Mexico (UNM) College of Fine Arts (CFA) and Office of theChief Information Officer (CIO) seek a highly motivated, dynamic,detail-oriented, and organized individual to join the IT Campus Outreach &Engagement team as an Information Technology Officer (ITO). Thisposition is foundational to the UNM IT Campus Outreach program. Thematrixed reporting structure integrates operational oversight from CFA andplanning/coordination from the office of the CIO. This strategyensures consistent access to the full range of expertise and technologysolutions available to campus. Moreover, it integrates academic ITservices into a support structure that is focused on customer experience. Theselected individual will work independently and as part of the UNM IT team tocoordinate the administration of information technology (IT) services for the collegeand school. The position serves as theinformation technology manager for CFA, while also participating withcampus-wide IT resources and initiatives to ensure effective and efficientpathways for the academic communities. This position will be responsible for promoting, supporting, andadvocating for the college and school’s strategic initiatives while supportingthe Office of the CIO’s technology initiatives. Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
