Responsible for supporting the daily IT functions for the Division of Continuum of Care in the Department of Pediatrics, by providing training, trouble-shooting guidance to providers and their IT support staff at outlying locations within the Division of Continuum of Care (CoC). You will be responsible for developing, managing the CoC website, maintaining, and tracking the CoC trainings and brochures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Telehealth - Maintain, install and upgrade telehealth equipment. Install, train and provide IT support for telehealth equipment located throughout the state. Prepare telehealth equipment for patient visits, trainings, and meetings. Triage on site and by phone problems that others might be having with their units.
Data Entry - Process submissions that come into the CORE project, validating & entering the review information into the database.
Website - Maintain, design and update CoC website as needed. Stay current on all UNM policies and procedures concerning university website usage. Make sure that the information on the website is in compliance with the DOH contract by loading all presentations and training videos to the website in a timely manner. Must have and regularly use a good knowledge base in reading and writing HTML code
Trainings/Brochures - Edit and update all current CoC brochures. Create and design new brochures as needed. Print all brochures and make them available for easy use. Help to setup and prepare for all CoC trainings. Provide technical support and setup equipment for all trainings (i.e., sound system, projectors, laptops and PCs). Assist staff in the use and navigation of software used to prepare presentations i.e.; publisher and power point presentations. Provide trainings on new systems, software, new and upcoming technology and UNM policies and procedures concerning IT management as they become available through HSLIC.
Specialty licensure/certification may be required, as specified by the department.
Successful candidate may be subject to a criminal background check prior to starting work.
High school diploma or GED; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Higher education and/or experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Web designer experience
Experience with Incident Management/Tracking
Experience in providing excellent customer service and support
Ability to support users and solve problems on desktop applications and web services across multiple platforms and devices
Experience researching, writing, editing, and publishing user-friendly documentation of technical services and subjects
Experience collaborating with technical teams to achieve outcomes that benefit end users and customers
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
