Position Summary | The Office of Education, Applied Cognition Medical Sciences Program (ACMSP) is seeking an individual who will help develop, services and programs that contribute to the academic success of medical students in all phases of the School of Medicine curriculum. The successful candidate will focus on helping students reach their goals of establishing a medical career and contribute to departmental programming that helps build connections and achieve success. This position will report to the Director of ACMSP. Finalists should be prepared to provide official educational transcripts if selected for hire. TheUniversity of New Mexico will reclassify all Grade 11 and 12 exempt positionsto non-exempt on January 1, 2025, to comply with FLSA regulations. Although thisposition is currently listed as exempt, it will shift tonon-exempt as of that date. |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | * Ability to process/analyze information and effectively communicate it to students. |
Additional Requirements | Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. However, occasional weekend and/or evening work may be required, depending on department needs. |
