| Position Summary | The Departmentof Mathematics and Statistics at the University of New Mexico invitesapplications for a full-time, Lecturer II (non-tenure track), with a start dateof August 10, 2026. Applicants must have a master's degree in mathematics or aclosely related field and at least 3 years of college-level teaching experienceby the appointment start date. The Lecturer will teach a 4/4 (4 courses persemester) or a 3/3 should the opportunity arise to coordinate courses. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher able to communicate and collaborate with Department faculty and staff. UNM is located on the traditional homelands of the Pueblo of Sandia. The original peoples of New Mexico – Pueblo, Navajo, and Apache – maintain deep connections to this land.
