The UNM Health Sciences Library and Informatics Center (HSLIC) is seeking to fill the position of Library Information Specialist III with Public Services. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday 2pm-11pm and Fridays 9am-6pm; hours subject to change based on departmental need.
· Staffing the front desk
· Providing reference service and assistance with citation management
· Performing literature searches in support of HSC patrons
· Monitoring and providing assistance/training in the library’s computing/printing area and Virtual Reality Lab
· Supervising student employees to ensure compliance with established desk procedures
· Assisting with special projects
· Opening and closing the library as needed
Days & Hours: Monday-Thursday 2pm-11pm and Friday 9am-6pm
Anticipated Start Date: 3/1/20
Projected End Date: 8/31/20
Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee
UNMTemps provides staffing solutions to UNM departments requesting temporary employees as positions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent, for peak work periods, and for special events. As such, UNMTemps assignments/positions may end with little or no advance notice.
|Conditions of Employment|
Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
