Position Summary | The Alumni Relations Office has an exciting opportunity to contribute to the operations of a great team while also serving as an important connection to the past, present and future of the University of New Mexico. The Senior Marketing Rep will be responsible for developing and executing a communications plan that shares with almost 200,000 alumni and supporters the important work of the alumni association and the numerous opportunities for involvement and connections. The successful candidate will have not only a strong skill set, but the ability to multi-task, develop relationships and think long-term. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to the following: -Developing a communications strategy which integrates print and digital communications channels with social media. -Ensuring that messaging which comes from the Association follows the strategy, meets deadlines, and adheres to brand standards and identity. -Work with campus partner to oversee the delivery of email communication from the Association to Alumni, to include list development, design, proofreading, and overall management of the process. -In collaboration with Alumni Office staff and other campus partners, produce the Association’s monthly e-newsletter, ensuring accurate content and timely delivery. -Manage the production of the Alumni Association’s magazine, produced 2X/yr to include coordination of the mailing list, printing and production, proofreading, and when appropriate contribute content. -Oversee the Association’s Social Media presence -Support Association events and programs by designing marketing materials (flyers, posters, brochures, etc) and write speeches in support of key activities such as Awards and Recognition events |

Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite; InDesign; Photoshop; Illustrator Experience in managing email-based marketing efforts and email design Social Media Experience Experience in Marketing Analytics Proofreading/Editing Experience Attention to detail |
