|Working Title||Medical Assistant|
The Centerfor Occupational Environmental Health Promotions, within the Department of Internal Medicine, is seeking a Medical Assistant to work in an outpatient clinic setting providing professional medical services and patient care. Follows established processes, including patient assessment, and triage. This position will also require working the clinic front desk, patient registration, working with the New Mexico Risk Management Division on worker comp referrals and working the administrative staff performing back office duties.
The Department of Internal Medicine is a large, progressivedepartment with a diverse staff working in dedicated teams to provide qualitywork in an organized, effective and efficient manner through innovation,training, and education. Through our collaborative work effort, we support thefaculty and enhance the missions of the department, school, Health SciencesCenter and University.
|Conditions of Employment|
Medical assistant certificate; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
