Position Summary

The Department of Emergency Medicine Medical Education Office is seeking a professional, highly organized Medical Education Prog Asst 2. Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for the day to day administrative aspects of the emergency medicine fellowship programs (Pediatric EM, Emergency Medical Services, Sports Medicine, Wilderness Medicine and a Pre-Residency Fellowship). Responsibilities include recruitment, maintenance and tracking of documentation required for accreditation, coordination of schedules, tracking expenses. The successful candidate has proven experience in a team environment, is able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, is self-motivated, and has the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a graduate medical education program.

This is a position that requires strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constant interruptions. Organizational skills, ability to manage time, and communicate effectively are a must. Knowledge of policies and procedures in working with confidential files and records. This position involves database management and requires advanced scheduling skills.

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
