Find out more here: https://hsc.unm.edu/medicine/departments/psychiatry/ The UNM Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, is seeking a Medical Education Program Manager to oversee all aspects of the department’s medical training program including Residency, Fellowships, Psychology Interns, and Psychiatry Clerkship. The program manager must be a great communicator, able to collaborate with a variety of people in a fast-paced environment, be extremely organized, adept at managing changing priorities, and maintain complete confidentiality. This highly motivated, team-oriented person will liaise with the Department Administrator, Education Program Directors, UNM’s GME office to establish and manage procedures for behavioral health training in compliance with accrediting entities, university, state, and federal policies and regulations. Duties require successful supervisory experience, expertise with multiple MS Office programs and specialized application systems, basic accounting, hiring contracts and purchasing, as well as experience with medical education programs. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience 2 of which are supervisory level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
Preferred Qualifications | · Experience working in medical residency/fellowships, accreditation and certification requirements, preferably ACGME · Knowledge and experience in accounting, purchasing, event planning and trainee/student recruitment · Proven experience in supervision, coaching and training · Advanced Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Teams, SmartSheet, UNM Banner · Expertise in complex scheduling and program implementation |
