Position Summary

Position Summary: Coordinates clinical education components and admissions processes for the Master of Science in Anesthesia program, managing both UNM facility rotations and external clinical sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain clinical rotation schedules and requirements
  • Monitor student progress toward graduation requirements through case logs and hours
  • Develop and maintain clinical affiliations
  • Monitor affiliation agreements and compliance
  • Track site capacity, case types, and resources
  • Document site accreditation and preceptor credentials
  • Conduct annual site evaluations
  • Coordinate student onboarding for external clinical rotations
  • Ensure completion of site-specific requirements:
    • Background checks and drug screenings
    • Immunization records and health clearances
    • Site-specific training modules
    • Compliance documentation
  • Verify student credentialing documentation
  • Track onboarding completion status
  • Maintain student compliance records
  • Facilitate communication between students and external sites
  • Process and submit required documentation to clinical partners

Conditions of Employment
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; at least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
