Position Summary | The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences is amulti-division department within the UNM School of Medicine. We provideexcellent, innovative education to residents, medical students, and healthprofessionals; the highest quality mental health care to the citizens of NewMexico; and pursue outstanding multidisciplinary research that helps solveimportant health problems. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional as our newMedical Practice Analyst to support and report to the Medical Practice Specialistin the analysis of clinical billing activity, provider productivity, andresolution of documentation deficiencies. The Medical Practice Analyst will beresponsible for consistent review of billing activity and identifying andinterpreting anomalies that represent both positive and negative changes in ourpractices. These anomalies need to be effectively communicated to the MedicalPractice Specialist and department leadership to influence swift resolution orchange. Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
