Medical Practice Analyst
|Working Title||Medical Practice Analyst|
The University of New Mexico Health Science Center, Department of Pediatrics seeks to hire a highly motivated individual with an interest in the medical practice compliance environment. The position will report to the Sr. Clinical Practice Specialist and be responsible for day-to-day clinical practice operations to include department charge capture and billing process issues. The primary duties include provider follow-up to documentation issues, analyze and evaluate charge capture and billing issues. Great customer service skills are required since this individual will have direct interaction with medical providers. Experience in a clinical operations setting is encouraged to effectively research and resolve billing process issues. Writing skills are necessary to create and update standard operating procedures, document meeting minutes and best practices. Intermediate skills with spreadsheet programs such as Excel are integral to track, interpret, and analyze data. In addition, administration skills are essential to plan and coordinate meetings and budget schedules.
|Conditions of Employment|
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
