The Department of Neurology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center is seeking an Open Rank, Open Track Child Neurologist to join our Child Neurology Division. Leadership opportunities exist for outstanding candidates with a strong track record of accomplishments and program building experience.
The successful candidate will be trained in Child Neurology and participate in the clinical activities within the UNMH Child Neurology Program including rounding on the Inpatient Teaching Ward Service, Consult Service, and Outpatient Clinic. The incumbent should have excellentcommunication skills, ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinarysetting, and experience teaching house-staff and medical students.
UNM Hospital is the tertiary care center for the State and the only Level 1 Trauma Center and Burn Center in New Mexico. The Department has 26 full-time and part-time attending physicians and is home to well-established Residency and Fellowship programs.
