Position Summary

The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at The University of New Mexico is seeking a board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist with experience in Clinical Service, Education and Research. Review will continue until the position is filled. Opportunities for clinical trials, clinical/translational research and graduate medical teaching. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor on an open Track. Salary will be commensurate with training and experience. The selected candidate will join a world-class academic center for the study and treatment of digestive diseases. The Faculty Members of the Division are superbly trained academic clinicians and scientists, recognized nationally and internationally as leaders in their respective fields.

This position may be subject to a criminal records screening in accordance with New Mexico law.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be board certified/board eligible in Gastroenterology; and
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States,

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in clinical service,
  • Experience in education,
  • Experience in research.
