Open Rank of Internal Medicine in Hospital Medicine SRMC - req# 27842

The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks academic hospitalist members to join the Division of Hospital Medicine and work at Sandoval Regional Medical Center in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, adjacent to Albuquerque. These positions are open rank and open track. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education. Collegial atmospheres in a physician run program and career development are highlights of these positions. These positions may be subject to a criminal records screening in accordance with New Mexico law.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Must be board certified or board eligiblein Internal Medicine or Family Medicine by date of hire.
2. Must beeligible to work in US by date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience/interest in hospital medicine.
2. Experience in teaching.
3. Experience/interest in quality improvement activities.
4. A demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and student success, as well as working with broadly diverse communities.
