Position Summary

The University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, Department of Internal Medicine, seeks a faculty member to join the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. This position is for an Assistant/Associate, Open Rank track to work in predominately outpatient pulmonary in our Sandoval Regional Medical Center. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and education.

This position may be subject to a criminal records screening in accordance with New Mexico law.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be board certified in Internal Medicine; and

  • Board certified/eligible in Pulmonary by date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in administration as evidenced by hospital committees or medical direction programs;
  • Evidence of scholarship with clinical research and peer reviewed publication;
  • Experience in academic medical centers and interacting with trainees.
